About the game

About SuperEnalotto 6/90

SuperEnalotto is run by Sisal under licence from ADM, Italy's customs and monopolies agency. Its first draw took place on 3 December 1997, replacing the old Enalotto. Until 2009 the six numbers were the first numbers drawn in the Lotto on the Bari, Florence, Milan, Naples, Palermo and Rome wheels. Since then the game has had a draw of its own, at 20:00 at ADM's headquarters in Rome, with air-mix machines and 90 balls. Draws take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a Friday draw added since July 2023.

Players pick 6 numbers from 90. There are six prize categories: 6, 5+1, 5, 4, 3 and 2 matches. The Jolly number counts only for the 5+1 category. All prizes are pari-mutuel. The jackpot has no cap and no forced payout: it rolls over until someone matches all six numbers. The SuperStar option adds a separately drawn number that multiplies prizes and can win even with one match or none.

The game's record is €371.1 million, won on 16 February 2023 by a 90-share syndicate played across Italy.

The Lottevo archive holds 2,947 SuperEnalotto 6/90 draws, from 2 January 2009 to 31 October 2026.

Over the whole archive, the most frequently drawn numbers are 6 and 85 (227 times each), and the least frequent is 70 (163 times). Each draw is independent: past frequencies do not change the odds of the next one.
