1. What we use
lottevo.com uses the cookies it needs to work: to keep you signed in, to finish a two-factor or Google sign-in and to remember your language, how you arranged the page and your cookie choice. These are strictly necessary, so the law does not require your consent for them.
With your consent, and only then, it also uses Google Analytics cookies to measure how the site is used, and shows you quick sign-in with Google (One Tap). On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept each of them, separately; refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. We use no advertising or social media cookies.
2. Necessary cookies
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
lottevo_session | Keeps you signed in to your workspace. It cannot be read by scripts on the page. | Until you sign out, or 30 days after you sign in |
lottevo_signed_in | Tells the website you are signed in, so the right menu is shown before the page loads. It holds no personal data. | Same as lottevo_session |
lottevo_two_factor | Links the code you enter to the sign-in it confirms, when two-factor authentication is on. | 5 minutes |
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language of the pages you open, when it differs from your browser's language. | Until you close the browser |
lottevo_sidebar_collapsed | Remembers whether you collapsed the side menu in your workspace. It is set only when you collapse or expand it. | 1 year |
lottevo_consent | Remembers what you chose for analytics cookies and for quick sign-in with Google, so we do not ask on every page. | 6 months, after which we ask again |
3. Analytics cookies, with your consent
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Lets Google Analytics tell visits from the same browser apart from new ones. | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Keeps the state of your current visit for Google Analytics. | 2 years |
Google Analytics is a service of Google Ireland Limited. It shows us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, how visitors reach the site and which steps they take, such as creating an account. We have turned off its advertising features and Google signals, so the data is not used for ads and is not linked to a Google account, and Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. The page addresses we send keep only campaign tags, so codes carried in links, such as a password reset, never reach Google. Google keeps the analytics data for 14 months. If you refuse, these cookies are not set and Google Analytics is not loaded; if you withdraw your consent later, we delete them. What Google receives is explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Signing in with Google
You can sign in or create an account with your Google account. The "Continue with Google" button loads nothing from Google: only when you press it does a Google window (accounts.google.com) open where you choose your account, and Google uses its own cookies there. Signing in with Google also uses these strictly necessary cookies:
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
lottevo_social_nonce | Ties Google's answer to your page, so a sign-in cannot be replayed by someone else. It cannot be read by scripts on the page. | 1 hour |
lottevo_social_signup | Holds the new account you are creating with Google while you add your country and accept the terms. It cannot be read by scripts on the page. | Until you finish signing up, at most 30 minutes |
Quick sign-in (One Tap), with your consent. If you accept it in the banner, Google offers, in the corner of the page, to sign you in with the Google account you are signed in to, without opening the form. For this, the page loads Google Identity Services from accounts.google.com on every page while you are not signed in; Google reads its own cookies, to know whether you are signed in to a Google account, and sets on our domain:
| Name | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
g_state | Remembers whether you closed Google's prompt, so it is not shown again too soon. | 6 months |
If you refuse, the script does not load at all; if you withdraw your consent later, we delete
g_state. What Google receives is explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Browser storage
The website also stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, under
lottevo.theme. It never leaves your device.
6. Sign-up check
The sign-up form uses Turnstile, Cloudflare's check that tells people apart from automated
sign-ups. The page loads a script and a frame from challenges.cloudflare.com, where Cloudflare keeps a security
identifier (cf.turnstile.u) in your browser's local storage. It sets no cookies and is not
used for advertising. Because it protects the form you are filling in, it is strictly necessary.
What Cloudflare receives is explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Payment pages
When you pay or manage a subscription, you go to pages run by Stripe (checkout.stripe.com and billing.stripe.com). Stripe sets its own cookies there, mainly to prevent fraud, under Stripe's cookie policy.
8. Controlling cookies
You can accept or refuse analytics cookies and quick sign-in with Google, separately, at any time
from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block lottevo_session, you
will not be able to sign in to your workspace; the public pages keep working.
Questions: contact@lottevo.com. How we process personal data in general is explained in the Privacy Policy.
